It’s been such a busy week. But I’ll wait till we get to Term 4 and then I’d probably be too busy studying to do not much else.
On the academic/school-related side;
1. PD Assignment handed in, and successfully sent to the right DET email address. It was GAY. Excuse the pun. ^^
2. IPT Prelims finished. YAY. I still remember how I tried to study the night before, on my bed, and ended up falling asleep. -shrugs- Not my fault.
And who could forget. Our wonderful IPT excursion to Sydney Convention Centre on Tuesday. Because that was the most interesting day of the week, I shall write a full recount of the many events that happened. =]
Since the excursion was one day before our damn prelims, we luckily had a morning class. Might I mention it was freaking 7.a.m in the morning? And I arrived around 7:15-7:20. Eh. At least I was earlier than normal. And I managed to cram some stuff from my notes into my head before I got out at the station.
After 1.5 hours of more cramming, we tried to print our notes. And the printer was stuffed, so we had to go to the next computer lab. And after a few screwing-ups, the computer finally printed.
The buses came at around 8:50 or 9 or something, and we got on, awed by the coaches. Free Microsoft buses, OHEMGEE. Okay, that just might’ve been us. See, we’re easily amused. But the buses were cool, they were squishy and had bright, colourful, hallucination-making patterns on them too. =D
After a noisy bus trip, in which Sunny couldn’t hear my voice over the phone, we arrived. The excitement in the air was so…I dunno; refreshing? Anyway, we walked to the Convention Centre and were awed once again by the shiny glass doors and luxurious suites and the lighting and you get the point. You probably would’ve thought we were tourists or something. xD
Yeah. And then we got to this part of the building where they were handing out silicon wristbands. Bright green with “Tech Ed. Student Day” on them. Elaine thought there were chips in them that could track us wherever we went. Haha.
Oh. Did I mention the freebie bag thing? It was so funny. White bags with “Microsoft” printed on them, and they had some pamphlets and free bottled water and Tic-tacs inside. And Tian, `Laine and I grabbed free CD cases from a near by stall thing. First come, first served. >=]
Finally, we saw our nice Ruse friends and Jason waved to us particularly enthusiastically, in contrast to Tongus. And we also saw Komal and one by one, most of the NSGs hugged her. Then we were separated when we went into the auditorium and got crap seats wayy on the side.
Ms Megabyte. The epitome of epic burnage. “Ha-ha”. You seriously call that a LAUGH?! We saw some presentations and I swear they were trying to brainwash us. IT this, IT that, IT is so flexible! aka. Join the dark side, and become IT technicians! Bwahahahahhaha.
Okay, never mind that. Jason won a webcam. And I was two off. 2. TWO. -hyperventilates- Not really, but it should’ve been MIINEEE. I’m such a good dramatist, yesyes? =3 Then we had Pavilion Time, or something like that, which I re-dubbed “Freebie Collecting Time”. We ended up eating recess/lunch outside.
Then we went back inside and we repositioned ourselves where we could actually SEE the screen properly. And in that time I managed to finish all of my Tic-tacs. ^^
After another hour of presentations and prize givings, it was time to go back to school. Nuuuu~!I wanted free icecream!! Rawrrr. Me want. No fair.
Oh. And amazingly, Jwen actually relented into handing his blazer over.
Me: Hey, let’s swap blazers. =D
Jwen: -looks sus and hands me blazer-
Me: o.O;; You agreed? xD
And then Tian came over and decided she wanted his blazer so she stole it off me and then gave him her own blazer coz mine was a bit small for him. And then he ran up the stairs and showed the rest of cGroup. Lovely, huh?
We did look really..er. Sus. Coz we got his tie and his blazer. And I somehow managed to lose my own tie. And I liked my tie. =[
We went back to school and studied. -cough; shifty look-
Well everyone else studied and Tian and I were helping to paint a mural. Even though our prelims were the next day, but who cares. We're just random.
And...not much else happened. We went home and logged onto MSN to continue our boring pathetic little lives. XD And I should mention that the next day, everyone was carrying those bottles from our Freebie Bags.
Nothing else happened much this week.
Yeah. I'll post later...
In the meantime, bye ;; =]
lol-ie…Nice. I cbb to do a recount of the IPT thingy.
My blogs are more commissons than anything else.
Next blog post: Death Penalty by lethal injection, is it really humane?
wow tian, you sound like one of those typical internet bloggers who blog about specific topics….
hmm.
HI TRACE!!
and i’d say hi to tian too except i already did.
but hi again anyway.
hmm.
maybe i should do a recount of the convention.
“from the point of view of someone who actually doesn’t do IPT at all, and might have actually snuck into the convention if it weren’t for teachers (who recognise me and KNOW that i don’t do IPT and wasn’t meant to be at the convention) being present and the alleged presence of RFIDs which weren’t present at all, which was annoying.”
